Dear Room 19 Families,
WOW! We had an outstanding week in Room
19! By far, the best week all year! We are still using Class Dojo, but ask your
student about the new daily Room 19 vs. Miss Rahrig competition. Best decision
we have ever made as a class!
We are continuing to move full speed ahead
as we approach Winter Break. Please continue to discuss daily with your learner
how important it is to be focused and on task these next few weeks. I will continue
individual Leveled Reading Assessments with every student this week. I was
hoping to have until December 18, but have a Data Meeting on Monday the 15th
to discuss all students and make sure we are doing all we can at Crooked
Creek to help them be successful. I will need to get all assessments done this
week. These assessments take at least 20
minutes per student and are done one on one. During this time it is imperative
that students are studying outside of school, as this will have to be done
during some of our small group work time.
Additionally, to ensure all students are
meeting his/her LexiaCore5 minutes, doing Lexia at home once or twice a week
would be very helpful! We have had three students complete all levels on Lexia! Congratulations Johanna, Fiona, and Stella!
